This rug is beautiful. As far as color: its a bit lighter gray and a very slight baby blue tone in the gray - i'm guessing, depending on the surrounding decor, it could probably look more bluish or more grayish - either way, it's lovely. I love it so much that I'm going to move this one to my daughter's room and buy a much larger one for our living room!! The rug is thick, the ivory decor is slightly raised and gives it a classy look. I've had it over a week now under our dining room table and it's not shedding a whole lot for me. I had read that it's a nightmare but no issues for us so far. :) I've been vacuuming it just cause of all the comments and it vacuums great!Kids love it, guests comment on how beautiful it is and our irish setter puppy loves to lie on it. 5 STARS! :)Love amazon!! :)
